Stéphane Huot (PhD, University of Nantes and École des Mines de Nantes 2005) is Associate Professor (Maître de Conférences) at Université Paris-Sud 11. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science (HCI) and spent one year at Telecom ParisTech (ENST) as a post-doctoral researcher where he worked on new interaction and visualization techniques for mobile devices. He then moved for a brief post-doctoral position in the INRIA AVIZ group (Information Visualization) and was hired in 2007 as a faculty member of the in|situ| team (LRI -- Université Paris-Sud 11 & CNRS, INRIA). In 2011-2013, he was awarded a two years "délégation" (leave for research) at Inria as a full-time researcher.
His current research mainly concerns Interaction Techniques, Engineering of Interactive Systems, Input Devices and Multi-Surface Interaction. He has published and served as reviewer in conferences such as ACM CHI, ACM UIST and IFIP Interact, as well as in several program committees.
