Bio
Daniel Strazzulla, born in Mexico City but grown up in Cancún, is a Software Engineer and User Experience Designer. Inseparable from computers since age 5, he believes technology can enrich users' creative, emotional, technical and social capabilities. He received a MSc. degree in Computer Science with focus on Human Computer Interaction from Stanford University and a BS. in Computer Systems Engineering from Universidad de las Américas Puebla.
As a UX designer at Apple he worked on improving the experience when using their developer libraries as well as on early prototypes of Ibooks Author. As a Software Engineer at IBM he worked on meta-data handling tools to support enterprise-class applications as well as on implementing Agile development practices within distributed team environments. He believes technology should empower users and enhance their natural capabilities. He recently joined the In|situ| Lab at the University of Paris XI as a PhD candidate.
